We all love a hero or a heroine and they don’t come much better than this amazing six year old who just never knows how to stop. Now just a smidgen off of the 6K mark she solidifies her place in the all of fame with a 13th stakes race win. Two previous goes in this race hadn’t brought out her best but today she went to the lead and just kept galloping. She went to the line in 1.32.74 which is her fastest ever mile and that tells her rivals that her amazing career is far from over.

2nd       My Girl Makita      Smokey Stover          Gutierrez Mario

Two entries and the owner had the luxury of one on pace and one off it. This one was taken back and stormed home for a brilliant one two for the stable that is really starting to challenge for some of those end of year accolades that have been the property of one stable for a while.

3rd       Ewa Beach      The American 

The stable should be very proud of this performance because it is not easy taking a horse from a stable like Smokey Stover and having great success with it. Coming home strongly this one looks on the verge of a special season if she can avoid the top two in future.

4th       Admire Beauty         Arindel        Jaramillo E

Stalked the lead but found out just how hard it is to stalk a mare like La Terrifiant and just ran out of puff down the stretch, a good effort but about the best she could’ve hoped for.
