Lady Narloff Keeps Rolling, Takes Bayokoa at OP

2/5/22

  1   OP   The Bayokoa (GIII)

       $250.000       4yo&Up F&M         1 1/16m  Dirt       122lbs

It wasn’t as easy as it was supposed to be but 1.60/1 Lady Narloff, trained by Twin TowersRacing opened up a big lead down the lane in Saturday’s The Bayokoa (GIII) at OP, and went under the wire in front by a neck as Toothless closed a late gap but had to settle for the runner-up spot.  The final running time was 1:41:40 for the mile and a sixteenth stakes.  It was another length back to Baptisted By Fire, sent off at 15/1 odds, in third and Last Lady got the minor money.

Lady Narloff is a 4yo bay filly by Hard Headed Woman – Narloff, by Ned Isakoff and she was bred by her owner, Twin TowersRacing, in FLA.  This was her sixth win from fourteen starts, three consecutive victories, and she now has lifetime earnings of $602.800.  Congrats to the connections!

Lady Narloff set the pace throughout, held on for the victory.  Toothless lacked early interest, closed full of run, just missed.  Baptisted By Fire lagged back, best foot too late.  Last Lady gave an even effort.  El Gran Asset just in behind the pace, tired.  Ginger Lee good early foot, tied.  Z Key flashed some early speed, tired.
