Launch Code Goes Wire-to-Wire in The Woodstock Stakes for TwinTowersRacing

The Woodstock 6F on Dirt

Purse $125.00 (plus up to $18.75 for ON-breds) For Three Year Olds.

Woodbine Racetrack Toronto, Ontario, Canada

Launch Code from TwinTowersRacing made good use of his natural speed and won the Woodstock in wire-to-wire fashion on Sunday afternoon to best a fast closing Mr Chill in deep stretch. We gave him a push as the probable lone F speed and he must have read the report, as he got into high gear quickly after breaking a half a step slow. Congrats to the winning connections and to those who backed him at what turned out to be a gift of a price that we frankly couldn’t believe. The aforementioned Mr Chill from Spb Racing took an unusual amount of public money and put in a solid late move, but was unable to topple the winner on the afternoon. Mayor Of Win City from Mo Mentum Farm was never more than a length back, but simply could not make up any ground on the leader and got out finished for the silver medal.

Of The Rest;

Indian from DJC Racing Stables received no attention at the windows, but gave a pretty good sight for most of the race before tiring in the drive.

Main Man from Bears Stable broke a little slow and that was the kiss of death today as he stayed in fifth place the whole journey to run last.
