I had a feeling this five year old was better than a fifty dollar claimer when he easily won his last race in a sub 1.33 time. Sure enough his improvement curve was steep enough to see him repeat that sort of time in his first ever stakes race and he looks like he may go on from this to even better things.

The eight year old ran another honest effort to be a hard closing second here after a great run for third in the Canadian Turf. He is the sort we would all like in our barn running his 30th top three finish and getting ever closer to the 1K threshold.

This was a bit of a return to form for the versatile five year old keeping on well for third.

Didn’t finish off the race as well as i thought he would just whacking away for fourth.
