My horrible handicapping continues as London Racing’s Your Worst Nightmare, apparently named after my choices, takes Saturday’s Chicken Fried Stakes by a length, travelling the five furlongs in :56.55 as the 5/2 second choice. It was a bang-bang-bang finish for the minor placings with Crack Eyes and Happy Beat inseparable on the wire and a dead-head was declared for the runner-up spot. Calamity Jean was another neck back in fourth.
Your Worst Nightmare is a 4yo bay filly by Face Your Fear – Sweet Dreams Tonight, by Anybody Home, and she was bred in NY by Luz International. Acquired by London Racing via the hostile takeover, haltered for just $5.000 back in June of last season, she now has seven wins from sixteen starts, and earnings of $160.440.
