1st Mandy Mo, trained by Angelos Stable

The pick of the race does not disappoint and wins in style. After stalking the pace the whole way she kicked clear to end up winning by a royal of one length. Not the biggest of margins but she was convincingly and did not disappoint. She finished in a time of 1:09.29 and earned a winners share of $75.000 for her performance.

2nd Capella Rising, trained by Stone Creek Farm

After sitting a midpack trip she started picking then until age got within a neck of the lead but was ultimately out finished by the winner. She ran a very good race and showed she could hang with some graded stakes company in the process. Look for her to show some more improvement over the spring and summer.

3rd Plucky Riddle, trained by Tiratzo

Sitting in midpack throughout the race with the eventual runner up she didn’t quite kick on as well. A decent finish in here she recouped the entry fee with her third place finish so her trainer must he happy about that. It looks like this is her level that can perform the best at so look to see her in more of these types of races.

4th Shoot The Moon, trained by TwinTowers Racing

A kind of lack luster performance as she looked like a good chance to win the race. She kind of ran in place never really passing anybody and she didn’t really get run away from either. A better performance was wanted I’m sure as it wasn’t her best ever but hopefully she can get on track next start.

Summary

The scratch of Mb Stables General Fletcha changed the race up some but the best horse ended up winning the race anyways. The winner ran a very good race and showed she was the best in the race and won in good fashion. A good edition of the race and pretty competitive of a race. Congrats to all the connections.
