Mazula Ruler Shows Field in Lang Who is the Boss

Mazula Ruler showed everyone in the race who the was boss with a nice stalking trip to win this version of the Lang Stakes. The second betting choice and eventual second place finisher Blind Danzig set the early honest pace and skipped away from Mazula Ruler by 2 lengths halfway through the race and was trying to take this field gate to wire, however these fractions started to take a toll on him as the horses hit the top of the lane and turned for home as that is when Mazula Ruler and eventual third place finisher Electrum hit their strides and started to make their run at this front runner. The fourth place finisher Sit And Suffer also launched his bid at this time but was much further back when trying to do so. Mazula Ruler eventually wore down Blind Danzig and passed him with just over 2 furlongs to go, and the wire came up in time to keep the hard charging Plectrum and Sit and Suffer from passing both Mazual Ruler and Blind Danzig. I feel that each owner can take something positive from this run and I will look to see each of these horses in stake sprints moving forward. Here is how the race broke down and the pay outs.
