1st On Fire Mb Stables Ferrer J C

No sooner have I finished writing about a one two for Mb Stables I am writing it all over again with yet another example of how Mb’s horses seem to be able to find a place on this new engine with or without instructions. We saw just how big the difference is between an off track and a dry track here as On Fire turned around a five-length defeat and made it a neck win. Getting the perfect position, he extracted himself in time and got past his stable mate in time to record a win in what should probably be his sixth in a row.

2nd Drinkin Creepin Mb Stables Lopez P

Despite being a BC winner on a dry track it seems this one is better on a wet track as he saw his stable mate out battle him. He was looking to win his seventh race in a row and very nearly did it with a brilliant effort from a terrible gate. Maybe it was the wet track maybe it was the wide gate but either way the turnaround of five lengths today will only be truly understood if these two meet again.

3rd Indian Summer Diablo Diablo Gutierrez Mario

Second to Drinkin Creepin in the BC Juvenile Turf Sprint last year he was once again held by that one as he made a brave attempt at making all from the wide gate today.

4th Hurricane Fly Fractious Saez L

Took to the turf well enough to finish on into fourth.
