3 KEE Beaumont (GIII) [KYO]
$150.000 3yoF 7f Dirt 120lbs +penalties
I got chicken when pickin’ this one and we all know the drill… when in doubt, take Mb Stables. That would have worked again here as Not A Big Deal gets back on the winning side of things, taking the Beaumont (GIII) by a length, showing good speed throughout and getting home first in a final time of 1:214 for the seven furlong main track stakes. She was the slight betting favorite over Last Lady and the betting public knew their stuff as that one was second, three-quarters of a length better than 43/1 shot This One Is Fast in third. Fantasy Command got the minor money in this one.
Not A Big Deal is a 3yo bay filly by Carson Express – In Toon, by Platoon, and she was bred in ON by Gustafson Stable. This was her sixth win from eleven starts and she now shows earnings of $614.580. She was acquired by the current connections prior to her racing career via Private Purchase for $50.000, obviously, another smart purchase by the big barn.

Not A Big Deal tracked the early pace, took over at the furlong marker, pulled away late. Last Lady taken back after the break, saved ground through the turn, second best. This One Is Fast off slowly, roused at the furlong marker, closing late. Fantasy Command in hand early, swung out for the drive, best foot too late. Red Parasite sent from the gate, headed at the furlong marker, tired. Rotation tracked pace, ground saving trip, tired. Molly Cat never involved, outrun. Charloff good early speed, tired. Ragin Red flashed speed, lost ground into the lane, tired.
