I was more surprised that Rearranger was 6/1 than the fact that he won. The Mb Stables trained gray gelding stayed close to the pace through out The Davis Stakes (GIII), then motored by when asked to take the KYD prep by three-quarters of a length, stopping the timer at 1:41.34 for the mile and a sixteenth over the Fast main track, here at TAM. Postol made a race of it, first by drawing in off of the AE list, then closing fast at 27/1 odds, taking the second spot by three quarters of a length. Another long shot, Extreme Flyer, sent off at 29/1 was third, with post-time favorite Ocean Storm fourth. Six lengths covered the field of twelve.
