1st Nancy Broom Moytoy, trained by Team 7 Illusions

The second win in a row over this track for this filly and this time she got a grade one win. It was her first graded stakes win and she has really improved a lot since her maiden win. She won very impressively actually and she is becoming a very nice filly. She ran the race in 1:45.90 and earned $180.000 for the win.

2nd Youthful Presence, trained by Mb Stables

In only her fourth career start she is already grade one placed and it came in her first ever try at the stakes level. She ran very good and obviously she has loads of talent and she is finally being able to showcase it. She definitely has a bright future ahead of her and she’ll be a graded stakes winner in no time.

3rd Alligator, trained by Maxmillion Farm

My top pick of the race didn’t make look smart but at least she didn’t run terrible and actually hit the board. She only got beat a length for the whole thing so she really didn’t run a bad race but I also saw her winning this race. I think next time she will run a good race but we’ll have to see wear she ends up.

4th Quakerce, trained by Sir Daniel Martin

The one who I had picked to run second ended up running fourth and the main reason is probably because she was in front in the early parts of the race. She still hasn’t gotten a stakes win since her Breeders Cup win so maybe she was just way the best last year. Maybe she will turn it around eventually.

Summary

Well Nancy Broom Moytoy has really became a very nice filly since she broke her maiden and she has now won two graded stakes in a row at Del Mar. She is turning out to be very good and if she keeps improving like she is the wins will pile up. Congratulations to Team 7 Illusions and Nancy Broom Moytoy.
