1st Nancy Broom Moytoy, trained by Team 7 Illusions

Well that statebred form she had coming into this race proved to be good enough as she comes away with the win and earns her first stakes and grades stakes win all in the same race. She sat right off the lead most of the way and then pounced on her late to get the win. She ran in 1:33.57 and earned $120.000 for the win.

2nd Snakie Groupie, trained by Maxmillion Farm

Well even with probably the best turf trainer in the game in her corner she just could not hold off the late charge of the winner Nancy Broom Moytoy. She at least ran a whole lot better than she did last time though when she ran last in the BEL Oaks. A pretty good second after leading the whole way also.

3rd Moonlight Bliss, trained by Fractious

This filly here did not run too bad at all as she finished third and only got beat a length. She sat third the whole way around there but just could not get by the top two but still ran very strong to hold on for third. She is improving every time she runs and may turn out to be a very decent filly by years end.

4th Infrastructure, trained by Our Athletes

Well this filly who was my top pick did not get the job done and actually ran a lot worse than I thought she would ever run really. She sat fourth the whole way but never picked it up enough to ever make a real threat on the top three and kind of disappointed. Hopefully she comes back better next race.

Summary

Well it was a short field but the race was pretty interesting with only a couple of lengths separating them all. The one who came out on top was Nancy Broom Moytoy off of a very bad finish in her start before in the BEL Oaks. She showed up today and ran a big race. Congratulations to Team 7 Illusions.
