Sophomore gents are headed to the Jersey shore for a mile and seventy yard test in The Long Branch BC, and it’s a wide open affair that seems like it could go any number of ways.

I’m headed to the outside post and will give the lightly raced Poised the nod today.  When last seen in the starting gate, he was fifth in the FLA Derby (GI), certainly nothing to sneeze at for a horse that had just broke maiden.  He’s training sharp, the big barn is always loaded… enough for me.

Let’s put Jade Sweep in the middle of this one, fresh off of that trouncing he handed out in the TTA Derby at HOU.  Yeah, it was TX-breds but he put a butt-kickin’ on ’em that afternoon and may be finding his best stride.  This is a horse to keep an eye on.

I’m torn on a few others, so let’s rock the exacta and see if we can win a few bucks.
