This five-year-old has had success in allowance and optional claiming company, with a win in November and several close second place finishes in recent starts, including his last effort at FG in March. Stakes win in the $25.000 Jackson early in his career. Time to try again and he could get a piece of the purse.

2 Harlem
Owner: Fractious

Back-to-back wins for this gelding coming into this race after changing hands in a claimer in January. Looks ready to run. Good place to try stakes for the first time. Another one with a chance at money.

Won in state-bred allowance company two back. Couldn’t hit the board in his last two starts. Wouldn’t count him out, but he’s going to need a big effort here.

4 Galapagos
Owner: Night Rider Stables

Finished up the track last out, but still scored a 100 SRF. Won in allowance company three back but hasn’t been able to hit the board in graded stakes. Should like this spot much better. Another one to watch.

5 Fionas Miracle
Owner: La Canada Racehorses

Coming in off a win in allowance company. Close in each of his most recent races with the exception of a seventh-place finish in March, but that was off a four-month break. This time he’s going to try and get there off less than two weeks.

Won in allowance company four back and hasn’t been off the board since in optional claiming company. Consistent but may have trouble getting past some of these.
