Grade 3 for Two Year Olds
1 1/16 Mile Dirt

A talented field of freshmen will go head to head for a spot in the BC Juvenile.
1 Lost And Found
Owner/Breeder: Red Square Stables
In just four starts, this colt has put together a career that started at PEN in MSW company and has landed him here in a win-and-you’re-in BC contest. Last out he came from off the pace to win the With Anticipation (G2) on turf, his first and only start on that surface. It was also his only attempt to date beyond a mile. Ranked in the top 20 on the BC Juvenile Points list, he is definitely one to watch.
2 Private Sector
Owner: Allinthegate
Breeder: Team 7 Illusions
Coming in off a second place finish in a tightly contested state-bred stake at GP, Private Sector has just one win – a maiden at EMD – to his credit. And his longest start to date is six furlongs. He’s not the only one in this field lacking in experience, and he could be the one to prove himself here.
3 Atletico
Owner/Breeder: Our Athletes
Speaking of lack of experience, this colt has just three starts, all in MSW company. He broke his maiden last out at a mile in wire-to-wire fashion. Speed figures aren’t as strong as some others.
4 Shootfromthehip
Owner/Breeder: Nakamura Stables
With two wins under his belt, Shootfromthehip made his move into graded company last out and finished third in a loaded field after trailing early. But that was at six furlongs. It remains to be seen if he can stretch out. Looked good at SA going seven furlongs in July. Should have a say here.
5 Withdrawn
Owner: John Henry
Breeder: Team 7 Illusions
In his short career, this colt has already changed hands three times. Looked impressive breaking his maiden at SAR last out, but only faced five that day. Still, he is working well and could be a factor. Look for him up front early – he does his best running when he is on or near the lead – or at least that seems to be the case so far.
6 Darth Andedudu
Owner/Breeder: Diablo Diablo
Broke his maiden two starts back at MTH, then finished 8th of 10 in his attempt to move up to stakes level. But he was closing fast in that race and finished just two lengths behind the winner in what must have been a very closely matched field. Another one to watch.
7 Red Broomstick
Owner/Breeder: Mb Stables
Won the Bashford Manor (G3) at CD in July, then finished a dismal sixth in the SAR Special (G2). Hoping to redeem himself here. Should like the distance, and this time he’s positioned off the rail so he should have more running room. #11 on the BC Juvenile Points list could make him the favorite here.
8 Jacque Allot
Owner/Breeder: End Run Farm
Only three starts to his credit, with a maiden win and a second in state-bred stakes competition. Seems to be a bit outclassed here.
9 Crop Duster
Owner/Breeder: Barcelona Farms
Never out of the money in three starts. Finished 2nd last out in N1X competition at DMR at a mile. Could be a factor. Watch for him to be flying at the end.
10 Kill Or Be Killed
Owner/Breeder: Night Rider Stables
A monster among these two-year-olds, standing 16.2 hands which is a full hand taller than some o these. Finished a close second last out when he stretched out to a mile in state-bred MSW at DMR. Still a maiden though. May need a little more experience.
11 Eastern Fire
Owner/Breeder: EasyMoney Stables
Not sure the distance will suit this one. He seems to get caught from behind when going beyond 5 ½ furlongs. Always close, though, even at a mile. Wouldn’t count him out but he has something to prove here.
12 They All Laughed
Owner/Breeder: Mb Stables
Only two starts to his credit, he broke his maiden last out at WO. Nice mile work at MTH last month. But like some others in this field, lack of experience might be his biggest obstacle.

Thanks for the write up. With 2 YO’s I think its probably always up in the air.
