Nose Separates Top Two in The Fox

The Fox – GIII
GP Race 7 1M – InTurf
Purse $150.000
Four Year Olds and Up Fillies and Mares

1st Saddle Happy, trained by Our Athletes

A very exciting race this year for sure as the filly got up to win by a nose in the final strides. She barely caught the pacesetter in the last jump to win by a nose. She ran a very good race for sure. She ran the distance of a mile in 1:33.52 and earned $90.000 for her win.

2nd Alligator, trained by Maxmillion Farm

Well this filly here ran a very big race to run only get beat nose in here after she set all of the fractions in here. She tried to take this field wire to wire and she almost did that. She was just caught by the winner in the last strides. She ran very good race to run second.

3rd Snacks, trained by D J C Racing Stables

And this filly also ran a very good race to get third after far back early on. She was about seven lengths back at one point and came with a very nice rally to only get beat by a length in the end. She closed pretty nicely and definitely ran a pretty solid race to get up for third.

4th Quakerce, trained by Fractious

Last runner on the board right here and this filly also ran a pretty solid race for sure. She sat right off of the leader early on and was sitting in a good spot. All that happened was that she got passed by the other two in the trifecta. She only ended up getting beat by a length so she was right there.

Summary

Well this was an exciting race no doubt with only a nose separating the top two finishers. Saddle Happy got up in the final strides to get past the pacesetter Alligator who ran a very courageous second. She just couldn’t fight off the winner. Congratulations to Saddle Happy and Our Athletes on the win.
