1st On The Spot, trained by Mb Stables

The Mb Stables trained gelding ended up winning very easily in here and won very easily by two lengths. He sat about midpack in this small field of six and then when he went to running did he just blow by them and open up quickly to win very easily. He ran the mile in 1:35.72 and earned $180.000 for the win.

2nd Handsome, trained by D J C Racing Stables

The runner up in here who I thought would be the toughest one in here didn’t run that bad but he definitely wasn’t ready for the winner at all. He sat third most of the way and then tried to go with the winner but he just couldn’t when it came down to it. Not a bad race for him at all and should be tough next out.

3rd Wild Fame, trained by Estero Farms

This Estero Farms trainee ran a pretty good race to run third and I thought he was probably the third or fourth best horse in the race. He didn’t run too bad after stalking the pace the whole way but the top two were definitely better than him in the race here but he still ran a very good race anyways.

4th Crimson Pirate, trained by Chili King Stables

This horse here didn’t run terrible at all I think as he ran fourth. I did think he might not be able to hit the top four at first but he ran very good to run fourth. He ran pretty good really because there was obviously no beating the winner but he was only a length of running second so that is pretty good.

Summary

On The Spot was a rather easy winner in here as he ended up winning by two lengths in the end and drawing away also. He is a very talented horse and didn’t run too terrible in the Preakness and I knew he would be pretty tough in here and he showed it. Congratulations to Mb Stables on the win.
