The very consistent State Apples, trained by Mb Stables, landed another runner-up check after setting the pace to the shadow of the wire, getting nailed in the final jumps. It was another half-length to Oh Brother from Spankys Barn, then two lengths to a photo that landed Rare Truth from TwinTowerStables the minor share. Three lengths covered the field of six, and there were no scratches.
