The draw was the key today for this one as she came off the back of a great run in the personal Ensign from a horrible draw. cruising just behind the speed she always looked in control and came home a fairly facile one length winner. This was her third graded stakes win and her first grade one and she will head to the BC with a live chance.

2nd   Had Some Drinks   Mb Stables                Saez L

Stalked the lead and kept on well. In true HRP style this was a nine length turnaround in form with Osmium and a ten length turnaround with Queenwood and makes you wonder if there is any sense in HRP form at all. She is clearly much better than that Personal Ensign run and may turn out to be a pretty useful miler.

3rd   Ineffable                 TwinTowersRacing  Gallardo A A

She went to the front and kept giving to be third albeit a fairly well beaten third. Another consistent effort she is improving nicely and there may be some black type in her not too distant future.

4th   Queenwood                Smokey Stover      Velazquez J R

The odds on favourite looked to have a good position to cover them all in transit today but the sluggish pace meant she couldnt quicken and she ended up a pretty disappointing fourth.
