Blue Blood went off at odds of 26/1, but with some significant add changes, he was able to overcome his flat effort last time out and prevail at the wire and to light up the board.

  Turf sprinters will get their CC race as well, as the CC Canterbury takes place on Saturday will a gate full of horses. It’s the 11th time that this race has been run, and to be eligible for it, horses had to have run for a claiming price of $25.000 or less since January 1, 2023.

  Nine horses will be taking part in Saturday’s CC Tiara, which is for female horses on the turf, going a little more than a mile. To be eligible for this race, a horse had to have started for a claiming price of $25.000 or less since the beginning of last year.

  There was no shortage of entries for the CC Rapid Transit on Saturday, as fourteen horses will be taking part. To be eligible, a horse had to have started for a claiming price of $16.000 or less since January 1, 2023. Weights for the race will vary between 122 and 126 pounds carried.
