Another race, not that it paid a ton, but we were all over it!  It took the placing judges a few minutes to figure this one out, but Mb Stables Present Tense just nosed out Smokey Stover’s Matamata to take The Azeri (GII) by the slimmest of margins… the two fabulous race-mares put on a show from the furlong marker to the wire… one for the ages!  It was another half length back to TwinTowerRacing’s Starting Over in third, then another half length to Your Demise, owned by Riggins Racing, in fourth.  The final running time was 1:41.36 for the mile and a sixteen, and the track was listed as Fast.  Only five lengths covered the field of nine.
