Pretty Little Pirate broke well to be third at the early opening quarter that went in :23 3/5’s.  She sat there to be third going to the half mile which I thought went in a soft :47 1/5.  As the field hit the far turn Javier Castellano started to ask for more, and she started to deliver.  She got to the stretch where she won by a length for owner Night Mare Racing.  She covered the distance in 1:40.35 earning $90.000 for her run.

Shekinah went out of the gate and went right to the lead, she set a decent opening fraction, but came to the half in a breather.  With that said, I think she allowed the other horses to catch up to her by the time she reached the stretch.  She tried to hold un, but ultimately got beat in the final furlongs.  She finished second for owner Blushing Meadows and earned $30.000 for her run.

Miss Eight broke away kind of slow, which is not her typical running style.  She prefers to up closer to the pace, and she didn’t get there today.  She was fifth throughout ¾ of a mile.  She rallied in the stretch to get up to be third for owner A And I Stables earning $24.000 for the run.

Laff It Up was your 1.85 to 1 favorite, and really didn’t show much here.  She broke away to be last spotting the field up to 8 lengths.  She made a run for it in the stretch but was just outran today.  A disappointing placement for this three year old.  She earns $6.000 for her fourth place finish for our Our Athletes.

Scandelous Dancer broke away to be fourth in the early going.  Tried to rally in the far turn and made it to be third.  Into the stretch she flattened out to finish fifth for owner Drabfantasy.  Will be interesting to see if this filly ends up back on the dirt course next time out.

Last Train To Tulsa was the second choice here today, and after showing some early speed in the early going, she flattened right out to give way after the half mile.  She would finish sixth for owner Red Square Stables.

Until next time this is Iwin signing off!
