1st Proud Revolt, trained by Stone Creek Farm

A bit of shocker to say the least as he bested the top pair. Stalking the pace and then hitting the front to hold off the late charge of Champion Farley. Running one of the best races of his life today he ended up finishing the race in 1:13.03 and earning $60.000 in the process of his head victory.

2nd Champion Farley, trained by Mb Stables

Everybody wants a horse as consistent as he is because he shoes up every time. Although he didn’t win he came flying late and barely got beat by a head margin. Never falling too far back at the rear he came running late but could just not get by the eventual winner of the race. Another good performance by him.

3rd Siberian Prince, trained by Tiratzo

Sitting the midpack position most of the way found some racing room and ended up running a decent third place finish. The weight break certainly helped him as he didn’t have to carry as much as some of the others. Now we’ll see if he sticks to sprinting or routing throughout the rest of the year.

4th Freak Storm, trained by Mo Mentum Farm

Sitting towards the rear of the field he came with a decent run to get a piece of the purse in the end. He ran pretty good in the end and didn’t embarrass himself at all with a respectful finish in here. Some improvement over the summer and he can possibly turn into a pretty good turf sprinter.

Summary

While my top two picks didn’t win one of them ran second. Don’t take anything away from the winner though as he ran a very good race to win. The runner up ran very good also with his very fast closing kick. Tokyo Secret definitely ran a disappointing race in here and will have to regroup after this.
