Three Year Olds and Up

1st Puget Sound, trained by Mb Stables

A huge huge run from this three year old right here as he beat some very good horses in here to get his first ever graded stakes victory. He sat right behind the leader early and then made a strong run down the lane to get by the pacesetter. He ran the race in 2:11.38 and earned $180.00 for the win.

2nd Coco, trained by Joshua Stables

An absolute huge run by this horse also as he came with a huge performance. He broke quick and went straight to the front and was going along at a decent pace. He was still in front when they turned for home and it looked like he was home free but he just got nabbed on the line.

3rd Sumi Gaeshi, trained by Maxmillion Farm

This runner ran a big race also as he closed from dead last to get up for third. He was about six lengths back and he could see them all early on. He started with a big run and swooped by most of the field but couldn’t get to the top two. He still ran a very good third.

4th Oh Awesome One, trained by TwinTowers Racing

And rounding out the superfecta right here is this horse who ran a pretty good fourth place finish. He sat about midpack early on and then tried to come with a pretty good run to get up for fourth. He ran a good fourth and was only beaten by two lengths in the end.

Summary

A very exciting race that this was as only a nose separated the top two as they battled it out down to the wire. The second place runner set the pace and tried to hold the winner off but the winner ran a huge race to get his first grade one win. Congratulations to Puget Sound and Mb Stables.
