Backed like he couldn’t lose this seven-year-old made it three in a row with a half-length win and set himself on the path of BC Glory. He loves this trip, but then a good horse at HRP can pretty much win at any trip on any given day, and I wouldn’t be surprised to see him taking on a longer trip before he makes his choice about his BC destiny.

2nd Dancing Rattler Martyparty Hernandez R M

He was the wide gate chosen for the lead and he looked like he may hold on for a while before giving way to the winner inside the last furlong. Another seven-furlong specialist, I am sure he will get another go at most of these before the season is out.


3rd Expert Eye TwinTowersRacing Velazquez J R

Great to see this one back to his BC winning form with a strong effort from a wide gate today. I think we will see him defend his crown against the top two come November.

4th King Pigeon Delta Farms Elliott S

Took option B from the wide gate and rattled home to be fourth in a strong effort. I have no doubt this top four will be meeting again.
