1st Pure Gifts, trained by Mb Stables
Going off as the morning line favorite he did not disappoint. After stalking the pace under J M Campbell once he took the lead it was pretty much game over after that. No one could make a serious challenge to him down the stretch. He got $75.000 for the win and ran it in a final time of 1:41.94.

2nd Snakie In The Window, trained by Maxmillion Farm

After setting the pace in the early parts Pure Gifts went by him but he did not quit after that as he held off all the others runners to still take a runner up finish. He jumped up good in class in here and shows he can maybe be a graded stakes level horse. Look for him to be very tough in his next start.

3rd Willow, trained by D J C Racing Stables

After starting in post three and running around the track in third all the way, he of course finished third. Not much switching around happened in the race as the only horse that got passed was the runner up. Not a bad run but a better finish was probably wanted from the wizard D J C.

4th Thrilling Mist, trained by Crocker Ggs

Once again not much changing in the order of the runners throughout the race as he was in fourth from start to finish. Probably didn’t help that pace was on the slow side since he was far back in the field. Maybe a quicker pace would’ve helped but also maybe a drop down in class for a confidence booster will help.

Summary

Obviously Pure Gifts was just too good for this field in here. He just cruised to a win and never broke a sweat in his win. The runner up ran a good race also after setting the pace and to hold off all the others. Pure Gifts was very impressive and congratulations to all of the connections who participated.
