$300.000 Graded Stake 1 1/16th on the Dirt for Filly Three Year Olds
As the gate swung open the two greys bolted for the lead. Forgotten Past got her nose out front early on with Queenwood a nose back along the rail. But as they went around the first turn Queenwood would take over that lead and be a couple lengths ahead as they headed down the back stretch. Bold Deceiver sat a couple lengths off Forgetten Past with Secret Affair and Volterra bringing up the rear.
All the way down the backstrech, around the far turn and down the stretch they would not change positions at all, finishing in that same order.
With the victory Queenwood has stamped her name as the leader in the three year old filly division and seems to be getting better and better with every passing race, she is a fun and exciting filly to watch and will be interesting to see her take on older horses as the summer goes on.
