1st Quiver Pond, trained by Estero Farms

My top pick of the race and definitely the best three year old filly on the turf and probably the best filly on the turf in the game comes away victorious and has now earned a free spot in the gate for the Breeders Cup Filly and Mare Turf. She ran a great race and ran it in 1:52.42 and earned $360.000 for the win.

2nd I Justwantthe Purple, trained by Gdp Inc

One of the two Gdp Inc entries in the race and she ran a very good runner up finish as she came from farther back than the winner and still made up this much ground to run second. She might have won if she sat closer early on but she still ran pretty good anyways and should be tough on her next start for sure.

3rd Hide N Seek Pup, trained by Gdp Inc

The other Gdp Inc horse in the race ran a good third to give the barn a second and third place finish in here. She sat third the whole way around there and never improved position or lost any position either. I’m sure Gdp Inc was proud of the way she ran and I’m sure she’ll be tough next out.

4th Sandset, trained by Team 7 Illusions

This filly didn’t run very bad at all as she got up for the fourth place finish and didn’t go back to the barn empty handed. She has now been beat by Quiver Pond in her last two starts. There is still a long time until the Breeders Cup so maybe she can make up enough ground to turn the tables on some of these.

Summary

Well obviously Quiver Pond is just a freak of nature as she is probably the best turf female in the game with this big time win. She beats three year olds and older mares so it doesn’t matter to her at all. She is now in the Breeders Cup Filly and Mare Turf. Congratulations to Quiver Pond and Estero Farms.
