1st Red Cup, trained by Our Athletes

Wow a very impressive performance by this horse here from near the outside post and he came rolling from way back in the field to get the job done. It was an ultra good performance as he was in a bad post and came from so far back to get the win. He ran the race in 1:09.47 and earned $120.000 for the win.

2nd Guest Book, trained by Mb Stables

My top pick of the race ran a very nice race also as he ran second to only get beat by a nose and he ran so good to get beat. He definitely ran a winning race also but just got nabbed on the line. He ran a very good race and I’m sure Mb Stables was proud of the way he ran and he should be tougher next out.

3rd Hard To Kill, trained by Mb Stables

The other Mb Stables horse also ran a pretty good race to give his trainer the second and third place finishers in this race. I questioned the competition that he won against in his maiden win but obviously that must have been a pretty decent field for him to run this well in a graded stakes race.

4th Chrystal Believer, trained by Maxmillion Farm

Another one who ran a very good race as he ran fourth but only got beat by a length for the whole thing. He sat in a stalking position and then was on the lead for a moment before being passed by the three that beat him. He ran very good and it was a very tough race and I’m sure he’ll be tough next out.

Summary

Well this was a very nice stakes race for two year olds and this winner was very impressive in his winning performance. He had a bad post and was very far back early on but came with a huge move down the lane go get up and win the race by a nose. Congratulations to Red Cup and Our Athletes.
