After a string of second and third place finishes in stakes and graded company, Mb Stables’ Retrospect made it to the winner’s circle in the Broadway with a last to first run. The five-year-old mare broke last but was never more than three lengths off the lead and got up to win by a nose.

Complete order of finish:

1 Retrospect (Mb Stables) Hit the wire a nose in front.

2 Mercy Authority (Martyparty) Kept stride with the eventual winner to come up a nose short.

3 Dabz (Gdp Inc) Came from mid-pack to finish third.

4 Tunted (Night Rider Stables) Stalked the pace, led briefly, settled for fourth.

5 Scary Ghost (Arindel) Led early but faded to fifth.

6 Here I Go (Night Mare Racing) Stalked the pace early but finished sixth by three.

7 Impact (First Flight Stables) Had no impact on the outcome.

Retrospect is by Acid Radio out of the Calm Command mare, Sensible. This was her third win in sixteen starts and brings her career earnings to $360.790. Congratulations to Retrospect and Mb Stables!
