1st   Rothstein  John Henry               Bejarano R
Proved to be a nice buy for $60.000 as he ran on gamely to just get up by a neck in a tight finish. He has been knocking on the door all year and got a good purse here in difficult conditions.

2nd   Delta Storm  D J C Racing Stables  Velazquez J R
Shot to a clear lead and looked like he may hold on until faltering late and just getting collared. This was a brave effort by this mud lover but just too much in the end but it will have answered some questions that his trainer has been asking of him this year.

3rd   Di Farley  Gdp Inc                             Ortiz I Jr
Kept on strongly but just couldn’t match the winner and went down in a photo finish. Beaten just a quarter length this was a nice step up from a cheap allowance win last time out.

4th   Hard To Deny  Mb Stables               Albarado R J
Flew late but far too late as he finished fourth just a length behind the winner. Not a bad effort but may not be up to this grade over this trip.
