Savvy Instinct from Mb Stables took solid action at the windows and backed it up with a real nice run to take down The Tepin Stakes on Saturday afternoon. She took back well off the pace and then weaved her way through traffic to prove too much racehorse to handle in the stretch drive for the rest of the runners on the afternoon. Congrats to the winning connections. Defy Expectations from Aer Stables gunned hard from her outside draw and pushed the pace the whole way in a solid performance. Given the nine hole draw she ran a huge race. Vast from TwinTowers Racing as expected dropped far back, at one point ten lengths off the lead and then came running hard to miss by less than a length. Big run today. Talk about a gutsy effort, Perception Plus from Spb Racing gunned from the far outside and tried to wire the field. She finished her day in fourth place, but ran a big one today considering the post.

Of The Rest;

Ginger Gem from The Sidley Stud sat a good trip and ran what can be considered an even race today.

Cher Ami from Waldo ran a decent race considering the jump up in class. Tab her for her next if spotted more realistically.

Shes So Pretty from High Voltage ran a puzzling effort on the afternoon as out top pick and longshot play. Probably got back further than anybody expected and although she closed, it wasn’t nearly enough. Interesting to see where she lands next.

Jump Into Action from Diablo Diablo exchanged punches briefly while running in eighth most of the trip to make no real impact. Expect a drop in class.

Mini Mulite, also from Mb Stables was sent into a good tracking position by her rider, but she didn’t appear to like having horses next to her and she tired and regressed through the lane in a less than stellar effort today.

Lilahs Empire from Royalty Stables was unable to show much speed on the new surface and regressed throughout to run last on the afternoon. Expect her to switch back to dirt and drop into a more realistic spot for her next performance under silks.
