Three Year Olds Fillies NY Breds
A field of seven three year old fillies have been entered up to run in the years running of the Fleet Indian here at Saratoga. It is a race that is restricted for New York breds so it is statebred company. Let’s take a look at the field.
1. Ad Aware (9-2-1-2 $69.210), trained by Mb Stables
The first filly in the field right here is coming into this race off of a win against first level allowance statebred runners about five weeks ago. She ran a very good race that day and she may be improving. If she improved off of the win she will have a decent chance.
2. Better Di (13-6-1-1 $200.880), trained by Alydar Stables
Next filly in the field right here is coming into this race off of a third place finish in the New York Oaks at Finger Lakes. It wasn’t her best race but she is pretty consistent. She likes to flash early speed so if she gets to the lead she will need to slow it down early.
3. Chick A Boo (9-4-1-0 $192.810), trained by Oquinn Farm
And now to this filly who is coming into this spot off of a win against open optional claimers last time right here at Saratoga. That was a pretty tough field that day and she won pretty easily that day. She ran very well that day and she should be tough in this field.
4. Command Stroke (11-2-1-2 $76.320), trained by D J C Racing Stables
And here is the next filly in the field and she just won a first level allowance race at Louisiana Downs about six weeks ago. She did not run a bad race that day but this is a big step up in class. She will have to run a big race to have a shot in here.
5. Incredulous (6-0-4-1 $71.660), trained by Mb Stables
The second runner for Mb Stables in this field and she is still winless in her career. She did second in a wide open maiden special weight here at Saratoga going this same distance. I think she is in here because she needs the distance but she might have a chance.
6. Out And Bad (11-4-0-2 $243.900), trained by Night Rider Stables
Another one that is coming out of the New York Oaks at Finger Lakes right here and she went wire to wire that day. She cruised to a win by two lengths that day. If she tries to take this field wire to wire she will need to slow the pace down early to have a shot.
7. Obvious Fraud (11-3-2-0 $39.840), trained by Nakamura Stables
And the final runner in the field right here is coming into this race off of a sixth place finish in the grade one CCA Oaks. She was just outclassed that day and this is a step down in class so she should have a better chance. Tough post to overcome though.
Summary
Well a nice field has been entered up for this race and there is some nice fillies in here. My top pick is going to be Chick A Boo because I think she will be able to handle the statebred company. Good luck to all in the field.
