Shocking Pretense caught a good going today down at TAM, and never ran on the off going prior to today, so owner Barcelona Farms did not know how he would fair in the good main track.  He broke well out of the gate to get the lead.  He opened the quarter in :23 ⅖, still on the lead, would go to the half in :46 ⅘’s.  He still was on the lead, and went to the ¾ of a mile in 1:10 ⅗’s .  He was tiring in the final furlong but held on by a nose to win for owner Barcelona Farms covering the seven furlongs on the good main track in 1:23.26.  He brings home $60.00 for his efforts today.

Dogs Got Wings broke mid pack out of the gate to be third.  After the half mile he made a move to be second by the ¾ of a mile marker.  In the final furlong she rallied to get up but came up short to finish second for owner Downwind Stables and earning his owner $24.00.

Charles Martel broke out of the gate to be fifth in the early going, and would fade to be sixth by the half mile.  Around the far turn as the field came he made a late move that would get him to fourth.  In the final furlong he got up to be third by a length.  He would go on to finish third for owner Nakamura Stables and earned $12.00.

Urban Decline broke out of the gate to be fourth in the first quarter.  Then stayed there until the ¾ of a mile marker where he was third.  In the final quarter he would tie up with Christmas Brit to finish fourth in a dead heat for owner Alydar Stables earning $2.00 for his run.

Christmas Brit  got out of the gate to be sixth at the opening quarter.  He went on to be fifth by the half mile.  In the final furlong he rallied to get up to be tied for fourth place for owner Lemax Farms earning $2.00 for his run.

Hollywood Kimbo broke out of the gate to be second in the early going through the half mile.  After the first four furlongs, he tired to go on to finish sixth for owner TwinTowersRacing.
