1 Her Lucky Day, trained by Mb Stables
Scratched

2 Jewel In The Sand, trained by John Henry
A grade one winner as a two year old she placed at graded level as a three year old but never lived up to that initial promise. Dropped back in class as a four year old she has looked pretty good in overnights winning two from three and just failing in the other. Clearly a filly with plenty of ability this is a good opportunity for her to get back to black type winning form.

3 Chickfila, trained by Jmg Racing
She has been running the free track for her entire career picking up six races and placing at stakes level. She is up to running with these today but free track form doesnt easily translate to the pay side and i will have to see how she goes today before getting enthusiastic about her future in the upper ranks.

4 Silver Setbus, trained by Ekli Stable
Second in the Grade two Prioress she also took the grade three Sugar Swirl in her three year old career and with a solid winning record she looked like she was going to be a regular in stakes races. This season however her trainer has brought her gently to her first attempt at black type since that grade three win running in overnight company 4 times. She has run creditably and with very little difference between an open allowance and a stakes race at HRP there is no reason why she cant make a bold show today. Her work times are solid and the trip will suit.

5 Nor East, trained by Mo Mentum Farm
Had a quiet time in the early part of her career but has really come into her own now after being bought cheaply at auction. A game win in the Broadway preceded her last run in the grade three Las Flores Stakes where she again ran well finishing fifth from a widish gate. She is good enough to get into the mix here.

6 Gottahotone, trained by Ollies
A regular at ungraded level last year she picked up three of those races and ended the season with a good effort to be fourth in the Rampart. She made a great start to her four year old career with a win in the Interborough before a top second in the GP Sprint Championship. She may have found seven furlongs beyond her last time but a wide gate saw her spat into the lead so she didnt have much choice in getting beaten and i am happy to write that off. She has the best recent form in the field and will be tough to beat today.

7 Cozzene Scandal, trained by Night Rider Stables
Competitive at all levels she is building her form nicely this year winning the Correction last time from a small field. A natural front runner so the wide draw may suit i am not convinced she can last home and beat the engine with an even field closing her down.

SUMMARY
As usual its a tale of the draw so i am going for Silver Setbus today on account of her being likely to get a soft run. Jewel In the Sand and Nor East are real chances and if the draw doesnt beat her then Gottahotone is in the form of her life at the moment.
