Sin City Foul All the Way in Broadway Stakes

The 13th Running of the Broadway Stakes

February 13, 2022

AQU Race #2 12:40 $100.000 6 Furlongs

4+ F&M 123 Lbs (Plus Penalties)

Track Record-1:08.26 (Geronimo-2021)

Stakes Record-1:09.38 (Wheres The Beef-2021)

The complexion of the $100.000 Broadway Stakes changed the morning of the race as Bad Senorita was withdrawn after the track came up “good”.  That left a field of four NY-bred older fillies and mares to contest the six-furlong event and it was Sin City Foul who advantage.

Away in excellent order from stall two, Sin City Foul took command of the race after the first of the six furlongs and proceeded to lead them all on a merry chase.  Running unopposed after a very brief battle with Dirty Storm, Sin City Foul went :23.06, :46.12, and :57.95 before hitting the wire in 1:10.58.  Her three rivals finished in a line about a length and a quarter behind her as Hollywood Phooey and Di Foxi just edged Dirty Storm.  That pair could not be separated by the judges and shared the place honors.

Sin City Foul improved her race record to 20-3-9-3 and increased her earnings to $154.870 for Asgar.  Congratulations to horse and trainer on their victory in the Broadway Stakes at AQU!
