We had an upset in Saturday’s Lightning City Stakes as Rampage Stable’s Sister Dearest, second longest shot on the board at 11/1,  took the five furlong sprint in a sharp final time of :56.30, going under the wire in front by a length.  La Terrifiant closed well to take the place, with slight post-time favorite Z Laffy One a neck back in third.  Hollywood Do over was fourth.  That time was a new stakes record.

Sister Dearest is a 4yo bay filly by Commercial Sis – Lonely Lady, by Condottieri, and she was bred by her owner in Cal.  This was her fifth win from thirteen lifetime starts and she is now two-for-two this season.  She shows earnings of $253.360.
