We stay at the most beautiful place on Earth and look at a field of six sophomore fillies ready to sprint five and a half furlongs on the lush Lexington lawn in the Limestone Turf Sprint (GIII).  One of my favorite races at this magnificent facility, and always a fantastic finish in this one.

When Mb has to put three in just to keep things alive, well, it may speak volumes to where things are.  But, that’s where things are.  I’m actually looking some place else for my top pick and went to the far outside for Big Jd Racing’s Ava Gardner.  You could have nabbed this one for a mere $7.50, back in Oct… not any longer.  Four consecutive wins including The Melody of Colors at GP in her most recent trip to the starting gate.  I think she just keeps on winning.

I’ll drop down to the rail for the second selection and take Maxmillion Farm’s Solar Lady.  She just missed going long at GP in the Herecomesthebride, that race on a soft SoFla turf.  But, don’t be fooled… she broke maiden at SA sprinting on the grass, so I think she has the goods to be a big threat in this one, as well.
