7 PIM The Miss PS (GIII)

We get a small field of six set to sprint six furlongs in The Miss PS (GIII) on the Friday program. Mb Stables has a duo of charges in this one and I gave Mycrazyxgirlfireind the slight edge here today. She won three in a row prior to a fifth in a stakes at OP, and she was beaten by Franchise Filly in that two-turn race, so they meet again and it should be a good battle. I’ll put Amalfi in this as well, with her four victories and just as many close finishes. It’s a wide open affair so let’s see how this one plays out… it should be a great race.

Very consistent type that almost never misses a check and she looked good winning the Cicada at AQU last out, staying close to the pace and getting home clear in that one. We all know that the big barn comes into these with the guns loaded, and I’d give her a big shot in this one.

Only six starts and shows a nice string where she won back to back races including the Glitter Woman and then ran a bang-up race where she was second int he Forward Gal (GIII). The last pair of starts certainly leaves a bit to be desired, can she find the old magic?

Lightly raced, this being her fourth start and she only has a single win breaking maiden in her second start, then running fourth in the Cicada. She closed a late gap in that one and certainly has the opportunity to improve here today. She’s worth a look.

She’s been on the board in seven of eleven starts and has been very solid of late. Back to back wins coming into this one including a five length win vs Alw types at GG. She was third vs stakes company at GP prior to those wins, so she should be able to go with this type.

Second half of the Mb Stables entry and she’s won four of five which certainly makes her a horse to fear today. Her only blemish is that last out fifth in the Fantasy (GIII) which was her first two-turn start. It’s back to a sprint and she look good to me.

Had back to back wins prior to that tiring fifth in the Ashland (GI) at KEE and she was only beaten two lengths in that one. She been close in a number of other stakes races and certainly should be given a big shot to get the job done here today.
