The TC Trail continues to heat up and we look at a full field set to go a mile and a sixteenth on the main SA oval in the San Felipe Stakes (GII). I’m lookin for a party to kick-off in this one and will take the WV bred… Im Sorry So Sorry … he was four-for-five as a freshman and has been beaten a length in each of his ’24 starts… a fifth in the Smarty Jones and a nice closing effort when third in the Withers (GIII). I think he will get better as the distance gets longer, but let’s see if he has the stuff to take this one. Capiche is another that looks to be lovin’ the longer distances and is fresh off of a second here in the San Vicente (GII) and a third in the Holy Bull (GIII) at GP. Team Leader is another that certainly deserves a big look going into this one… a very nice win in the Lewis Stakes, over this track and at the distance… at 37/1, none the less. You probably won’t get anything close to that here, but he is a horse that could be standing in the winner’s circle.
