This was always going to be a tight race and in the end it came down to the filly with a good trip and plenty of guts. One of the proven in the field she was ridden just behind the leading trio and in the end had just the better finish getting home by a neck. This was a nice seasonal debut for the four year old who should get herself into the BC picture as the year unfolds.

Ridden back but never too far behind she ran on strongly down the stretch but never quite looked like getting there.

3rd Projected Ahead D J C Racing Stables Centeno D E

Battled on but just couldnt find enough pace at the end she too was keeping on well and wasnt beaten far.

4th Thalassa Maxmillion Farm Van Dyke D

Came from furthest back and was finishing fastest of all but failed by just under a length to catch the winner. In a race that saw only three lengths first to last it is hard to see any of these horses being out of contention at this grade going forward.
