Cozzene Scandal won this race last year, and she has her work cut out for her today against these six rivals. She has only made it to the winner’s circle once this year and that was in Optional Claiming company. Keep an eye on City Twirl and Viva Diva. They both have to step it up here, but they are both having a very good year. So is Dashboard Rahy with a graded win early this year.

Coming in off a win in the $100.000 Pumpkin Pie at BEL. Has finished second in all three of her attempts at graded stakes, including back-to-back seconds in the Pine (G3) and the LA Woman (G3) last year. She returns to that level here and has a very good chance at her first graded win.
2 Dashboard Rahy
Owner: John Henry
Breeder: Iwin Enterprise
Second in last year’s BC Fillies and Mares Sprint (G1). Her most impressive performance since then came in the Whimsical Stakes (G3) in the mud at WO where she wired the field. Last out, she finished fourth in the TC of America (G2). Strong contender in this field.
3 Cozzene Scandal

Breeder: Kingelleinc
Won this race last year, one of 6 wins in 7 starts in 2015. This year she has 7 starts but only 1 win. That one came in Optional Claiming $80 company on a sloppy track. She was a close third last out in the ONT Fashion Stakes (G3) and an even closer third two starts back at $95.000 Allowance level.
4 Sweep Me Over

Breeder: Boulevard
Finished 11th and last in the TC of America (G2), her only attempt at graded stakes, then came back in her last start to win the $100.000 Million Distaff Preview in state-bred company at CRC. Has been very consistent this year with 6 in-the-money finishes in 8 starts, but she has yet to prove herself at this level.
5 City Twirl
Owner: Mo Mentum Farm
Breeder: Pan Farms
Riding high on a 3 race winning streak, including a victory in the $10.000 Multnomah Falls Handicap at PM. Another consistent filly, but this is a pretty big step up for her. Will have to wait and see.
6 Viva Diva
Owner/Breeder: Mb Stables
In the money in all 7 starts this year. Her only stakes win came in the $50.000 Hastings at EMD in the mud. She followed that up with a 2nd in the CA-bred $250.000 Bison City Stakes at WO. Last start, she won an $80.000 Optional Claimer at CD and registered her highest SRF to date at 99. Will need a top effort to win against these.
7 Silver Setbus
Owner/Breeder: Ekli Stable
Also coming in off a win, this time in $51.000 Allowance company at CD where she wired the field and scored a 97 SRF. Her only graded start came in the Prioress (G2) where she finished a close 2nd behind You Gotta Believe who went on the compete in the BC Fillies and Mares Sprint. Looks like an improving 3-year-old that just might be coming into her own just in time for this race.
