5 Furlongs Dirt Stake Purse $100.00 Filly 2 Year Olds.

1st Sweet Oly, trained by John Henry
This nicely bred filly started a bit averagly but soon got herself in the race and ended up a fairy commanding winner. Unbeaten in her two starts now she is a big filly who is clearly precocious and she could go in again before some of the other two year olds catch her up.

2nd Airlie Beach, trained by Fractious
Repaid her new owner for their winning bid in the auctions with an improved run. Still only 15.1hh there is clearly plenty of growing still to be done and the way she finished this race off suggests we will be seeing plenty of her in the Autumn.

3rd Crown Of Light, trained by LionKing Stables
Started well from a widish draw she got into the stalk but didnt find much when the pressure went on. This was a good effort for a recent auction buy and her trainer will be pretty pleased.

4th Fortune Tune, trained by Aml Racing
Didnt show the same early pace as she did when winning her maiden and although she made some ground was never going to get to the leaders.
