1st Techfluence, trained by The Sidley Stud

Well for the second year in a row Techfluence went ahead and got the money in the Northern Dancer BC Turf. He won this race last year with P Husbands riding him so it was a repeat of last years big win. He obviously likes the Woodbine mile and a half race and he runs good here. He ran in 2:25.23 and earned $180.000.

2nd Bring The Pain, trained by Mb Stables

This horse ran a helluva race also to only get beat by a nose by the defending champion of the race. He definitely gave his all and was trying his hardest to get the money and barely got beat. If he would have got the win I wouldn’t have been surprised with the way he ran if he did. A very good performance by him.

3rd Controlled Power, trained by Spankys Barn

Man was this race an exciting one because a head separated the top three finishers in the race and it was a grade one race which makes it even more exciting. Now this horse finally ran back to his best after two lackluster efforts in a row but he ran good in here. Definitely a very good effort from him.

4th Midwestern Slang, trained by Gdp Inc

Another one that wasn’t too far off from winning this race either as he ran fourth but only got beat by three quarters of a length. He was closing at the end but it was unfortunate for him as it just wasn’t enough to get the job done. He still ran a very good race and wasn’t beaten by that far at all.

Summary

Well this was a pretty exciting race and once again the winner was very close to the pace like the other turf race right before it. The main thing was that Techfluence won this race back to back so obviously he likes this track and distance. He ran a pretty good race once again. Congratulations to Techfluence and The Sidley Stud.
