1st Temple Of The Brave, trained by Crocker Ggs
Shot right to the front when the gate opened and quickly opened a two-length lead. Maintained that lead as they raced down the backstretch while setting reasonable fractions. Widened the lead to 3 lengths as they moved around the turn and entered the stretch. Was never threatened as she went on to the wire in impressive time.
2nd Shoot The Moon, trained by TwinTowersRacing
Raced between Proud Luck and Where To Find Me down the backstretch 3 lengths from the lead. Moved up alongside Set In Stone as she rounded the turn. Never challenged the winner but was second best.
3rd Set In Stone, trained by Smokey Stover
Tried to move up and challenge Temple Of The Brave after the start but was unable to keep pace. Lost ground on the turn and was beaten for the place by Shoot The Moon.
4th Where To Find Me, trained by Mb Stables
Raced evenly the entire race to pick up a minor check.
Summary
There was very little movement in this race as Temple Of The Brave was just too good for the rest of this field. You do not see easy victories like this here at HRP very often especially in stakes races. The final time was very impressive and the second fastest running of The Inside Information ever. I imagine we will hear a lot from this filly as the year goes on and I expect to see her back in the BC Filly & Mare Sprint come November.
