The Demoiselle – Grade II [KYO]
1 1/8 Mile Inner Dirt Stake Purse $250.000 Filly 2 Year Olds.

1st La Terrifiant, trained by Jive Inc
This terrific two year old ended the season with a record of three wins and two seconds and winnings of nearly $1,500.000 as she added this grade two to her famous BC win. A real find by her owner at $225.000 pre race she is still only 15.1hh and with the possible improvement that growth brings must go into the Winter as the KYO favourite. Today she raced right up on the speed making a lot of her own running and still had enough left for a half length win. A real advert for those who believe that race track performance is more important than works, there isnt much in her work record to get excited about but she sure does know how to win a race.

2nd Diminuendo, trained by Smokey Stover
Ran a solid race keeping on really strongly for second and will go into the Christmas period with some confidence behind her.

3rd On The Square, trained by Crocker Ggs
For a filly with little to recommend her at this level and coming from a wide gate she ran a cracker to be third just a half length off the BC Champ. A daughter of Kavorka she raced over five furlongs last time out so this was a hug step for her which she handled very well indeed.

4th Sprinkles, trained by Mb Stables
Ran in a loose stalk but just couldnt quicken up ending fourth but only beaten a length. A daughter of Decima i am sure she will train on as she too is still on the small side.
