1st The Belle Tolls Allinthegate Velazquez J R

This filly proved what a serious filly she is today coming out on top by a head in a tight finish. With a great record in grade ones she looks like a real good prospect for the KYO for a stable who quietly flies under the radar. She had the perfect draw to work with today and was brilliantly ridden so there is room for her rivals to beat her in different circumstances but she got the money today and goes forward as a filly with a great record of 5 wins from 7 starts.

2nd Mad Mistress Jokerjoes Van Dyke D

The first two were separated by a whisker in the BC and it was very close again today but try as she might this very good filly couldnt get to the winner in time. I am sure these two will flip flop results for the rest of the year and it will be interesting to see who comes out on top in the KYO.

3rd Bite The Bullet Mb Stables Bejarano R

Despite having a third of the field the trainer could only get one into the first four. Stalking the lead i thought she may go on and win but she flattened out and couldnt match the finish of the first two. A length behind at the end i guess a case can be made for the fact she had the worse draw so all is not lost for the daughter of Spring Lover.

4th Ms Pea Aer Stables Pennington F

This filly has looked pretty good over shorter trips but she couldnt stay this mile even with a soft lead so i think her road to the KYO may be over and she may be returning to sprints for now.
