It was great to see the BC form stand up here as the BC Turf third placed finisher took advantage of some crazy RE tactics to pounce and win. Getting a great spot behind the dueling favorites he had plenty at the end and pulled away for a fairly easy one length win. This has been a great purchase by the owner and i fully expect him to be one of the stronger older representatives in the turf ranks next year.

=2nd Decibel Threshold Leparoux J R

After speaking to the trainer they said that they were shocked that after being given a restraining order the jockey decided to keep pushing this four year old until he found the lead. Whatever made the jockey ignore the trainers instructions this consistent sort battled gamely to hold onto second and will be around again next year to renew rivalry with the winner.

=2nd Xmas Snow Maxmillion Farm Jaramillo E

Went head to head with Decibel and the two burnt themselves out of the finish in the end. The three year old kept going gamely to dead heat with Decibel and looks to be a late improver who is sure to be right amongst them next year.

Came from the back but never quite got to the leading trio ending up fourth in a good effort.
