BC Sprint is Taken by a Con Artist

BC Sprint – Grade I

6 Furlongs Dirt Stake Purse $2,000.000 Open 3 Year Olds And Up.

1st Con Artist Fractious Hernandez R M

In a race where everything seemed to have been bought and sold among the trainers this was the most expensive of all the purchases coming out of Mb Stables for $750.000. Traveling in the perfect spot from his great draw he found an easy trip and won pretty handily by a length.

2nd Di Bug John Henry Gallardo A A

More of an outside chance from the trainers three entries he ran on the speed from his wide draw and was really game to hold on for second. Bought for $220.000 early in the season he looks versatile enough to make a good four year old.

3rd Sonar Threshold Espinoza V

Travelled in a good spot and never stopped trying this was a decent run for his new trainer and he quickly paid back the $110.000 he cost today. Not sure hoe many miles he has left on the clock but on his day he is a tough sprinter.

4th Kiss The Snake Nakamura Stables Beschizza A

His run of grade one wins came to an end but he lost nothing in defeat. Running from gate 9 in his last 4 starts must in itself be a stat that will never be repeated and i have a feeling if he comes back next year in this sort of form with an inside draw he may just go three places better.
