Bought for $50 she quickly repaid that confidence with a strong allowance win last time out and has since gone under 1.35 in a work so he looks ready to step up again from this nice draw. Winning chance.
2 Bashful Aer Stables Cancel E
The stable has a lot of very good three year olds in the barn and whilst this isn’t the best of them he threw a 1.34 and 2 mile work a couple of weeks ago and along with the best draw will probably win.
3 Ohtani Sccj Stables Diaz H R Jr
Ran in plenty of big ticket maidens before finally winning impressively on her last start. Her works say she is a lot better than a one race winner on turf and it was that switch rather than the off track which may be the key. A great draw and probably the biggest danger.
4 Queens Decision Nakamura Stables Luzzi M J
Stepped up in trip for an impressive win in only his second start last time. The stable is in great form and this looks a real promising type. Could get into it if this grade hasn’t come too soon.
5 Moline Team 7 Illusions Cardenas L
After winning his maiden on the turf he went to the dirt to try and get in the TC picture but after a failure in the LA Derby is now back to his preferred surface. A good worker he comes right into the picture in an even field.
6 Trouble Brewing Mb Stables Carmouche
A consistent sort he probably has the best form in the race even if he doesn’t have the best works. When you look at his nose second in the grade three DeMille Stakes` you would have to say he could outclass these but with very little class system that may not be the case.
7 Vasilevsky Big Jd Racing Alvarado J
Gets his chance after a game allowance win last time but the wide draw will make it very tough for him to break through.
SUMMARY
I think this is between Bashful and Ohtani in a race where a good case can be made for all the runners.
